Whilst I am writing this is a forum on relationships, and dealing with recovery after a breakdown, it can apply to any situation in life really. That is the issue of health and hydration. Why am I saying this, you may well ask?
In many cases, a common route that people take is to go and gorge themselves on snack food, junk food, and fast food, which usually includes many fizzy drinks, mixed with copious amounts of coffee. Am I right? Are you seeing some of this in your behaviour? Be honest. This is about you helping yourself and moving on from the rut you may have been in. I know it takes courage and I applaud you for taking the time to research and do something about it. It isn’t easy, and for that, you can be proud of yourself.
In the case of water, remaining hydrated through the day is essential to feeling better in yourself, as well as through greater and better health. How is this so?
Having around 2 litres of water a day is the best way to flush toxins from the body. It will also help you to feel less bloated, as you might from excessive fizzy drinks. Whilst I enjoy my coffee, I know too, that I need to limit it to no more than three or four cups a day. I have at times, had closer to ten, and it;s not good.
This greater health business is about you feeling better about yourself, and knowing that you can still do so much more in the future. With a healthy body, your confidence can soar, and you will automatically become more attractive to those around you as well. This is not even a deliberate thing. It happens automatically, and with a deliberate effort, the results are compounded many times further.
You will manage much better. Give yourself a little time to look after yourself first. You can only help and be attractive to others when you have taken care of yourself first. The old wives tale of some mothers looking after their kids, and never themselves is a false economy. Look after yourself- you will be much better to help others too later with it.
