In any situation, relationships or otherwise, we can be wronged, either directly or accidentally. I have seen too many people as a result of this hang on to feelings of anger and annoyance, and the worst part is that the only person affected is the person with the anger. It can be possible that the ‘offender’ doesn’t even know they have caused you hurt.
Hence, even though it can be very hard at first, I recommend all people to try ( in fact make that determined) to eliminate any pent u feelings of anger. Not only is this better for your overall well being, but it also can help in eliminating illness and subsequent problems. I have seen this all too often. Really, it is amazing how the mind is linked in so many ways with feelings of inadequacy and resentment. When we do not forgive, we actually can create illness in the form of cancer in our bodies. If this is the first time you are hearing this, I can understand your possibleĀ skepticism. However, it is really true.
Peple have been healed of terrible illnesses by releasing their feelings of anger and ill towards other people.
Best of all, you do not have to actually do so directly to the other person. Just writing a long letter airing your grievances, and then your Forgiveness will actually make a big difference- to you! for the better.
